I'll be singing all day--thank you Jetcone!"

Who doesn't love and fly to her hit tune,"If I Could Turn Back Time"?

Bob, can i still say Mass on your Flair?

As soon as I hit the post button I realized I got on the wrong Jet. Oh well, the flight was just as nice. I love all jets.

The grocery store's a supermart, uh huh

Happy birthday, Cher!

I love the song "Half Breed" by Cher with the Native American drum beats and the hoaky chanting in the background.

And also a funny misheard lyric

"Picked up a boy just south of Mobile,
gave him a ride, hit him with a high heel (fill him with a hot meal)" I always thought that sounds like something Cher would do... and the "gave him a ride" is up to the listener's imagination.

How could I forget

Jason, I love both of those songs too, and when you look at her face in
Brett's post do you ever think the she may be the only truly successful plastic surgery around. It's perfect and it works, at least in the still shots.

What's a birthday without a Party????

It was our turn to host our Gourmet Group last Sat, so of course I chose Cher's birthday as the theme. The party was wasy fun, but over the top as you might expect! Cher Trivia, prizes for the best rendition of the "Vamp" song and "I Got You Babe," with costumes. Here are a few pics, was able to be outside for most of it.

And the entertainment....

"I Scared You Babe." Robert go ahead and delete this as soon as you want, I just thought I would finish up this thread with the party and pics. Probably the gayest party I have ever thrown... what can I say but.."Take This You Bitches!"

Don I bet that was a wonderful party!! What did you serve for dinner? Miss Ellie looks so cute in the feathers. I bet that everyone had a great time. Terry

I will never forget....

Years ago when I was in high school, Sonny & Cher came to the Saint Petersburg Bayfront Center. I watched the show in awe!!! After the show, I was determined to meet her. We ran all the way around to the back of the center where the artist's stage door was, and a long white Lincoln limousine was waiting. The door opened AND THERE SHE WAS!!!!!!! I've got to say that I HAVE NEEVER SEEN A MORE BEAUTIFUL WOMAN IN MY LIFE. She was in the white indian outfit and I swear that she glowed! She stopped and talked to the 6 of us and signed autographs for all of us. She was even kind enough to let me get a photo with her. I was so taken I couldn't even speak!!! Mark
