new bosch logixx washer, which i believe does more or less the same as my siemens, has the same stain removal programmes, i believe this has been out in germany for a while now ( correct me if im wrong ).
I remember seeing a promo video for it ages ago before logixx 8 came to uk, and was quite disappointed when it wasnt the same machine, just a dummed down version. Not too sure on the silver door though, looks a bit out of place.
one these vid's i used the grease + oil stain setting, which lasts around 2:02, the only difference i noticed was that it used a higher water level for the wash and rinses. On the first rinse the sensor detected detergent so performed the 2nd rinse, i've noticed with liquid detergent it'll only do a total of 2 rinses but when using powder it'll do a total of 3. Depending on programme and settings it doesnt always use the hydroSensor for the rinses.
I love the way it informs of what type of rinse its carrying out, messages it displays can be :
Foam detection: Extra rinse
Rinising with hydroSensor
Rinising
Hi Jay
the video of the 2nd rinse is amazing, however does it fill during spins or just at the start of the 2nd rinse?
Was the pump on whilst it was filling and spinning, slow down?
Thanks for the videos, very appreciated.
Hey! Nice set of vids there!! Its so strange seeing a Siemens fill with that much water for a rinse lol! The drum seems to wobble about alot when washing I noticed, a bit like how my Hoover did but yours seems ALOT more stable on spin lol!! My Bosch maxx used to fill in exactly the same way for rinses as your siemens! But mine didnt have the cascade so you just got the sound of the water sloshing in between the drum as it slowed down
Yeah the drum does tend to move alot, on the spin sometimes it does do a bit of the re-balancing unlike a bosch i had which rarely did any re-balancing, balanced or not lol.
On this one if it detects a in-balanced when its speeding up just after the distribution stages it'll immediatly slow down and re-balance, i guess it has too since the outer tub is massive.
I could be wrong on this one, but interestingly if you bother with the weight sensor, in the load adjust stage it'll just tend to fill once (one long fill) and move straight onto washing, where as if you dont bother with it, it'll fill then do the whole checking the water level and filling on and off till its right, i could be wrong and its just been a fluke each time i've happened to look at it.
I'd like to know though if any washers have the weight sensor connected to how much the washer fills by.
