These people look at the websites where they sell restored vintage appliances and use it as a pricing guide like they are sitting on a gold mine or something. No offense to anyone but Ialso find annoying people that stumple upon this site and want to know how much there 40 something year old washer and dryer are worth...
again they think they're sitting on a gold mine.
 
Well, overpricing gives them longer to enjoy their treasure.

Although it's not Ackworth, back in the 60s and 70s in parts of Gwinnett County the water supply was so inadequate that during the summers the water pressure was too low for many residents to be able to use their automatic washers so they broke out the trusty wringer 'til the water situation improved in the fall. It also meant that dishwashers were seasonal appliances. The residents refused to pay for upgrades to the water system to accommodate the population growth
