Beko Fridges and Freezers
Unfortunately, this has been going round for quite some time. Apparently the Beko range of Fridges and Freezers are notorious for catching fire.
Also pretty sure that I heard something about their dryers too.
There doesn't seem to be the same issue with their Washing machines and Dishwashers though (not that I have yet heard of).

I may be well and truly stuffed then...
as my heat pump dryer from the lovely firestarter beko has a fridge mechanism so if its dryers and fridges I best not use it when not about!!
As it also coming up to its 2nd year I believe a lot of beko washers are fine for a while then around the 2 year mark they have electronic problems and I know that is the case for 3 of their washers in my shed all with the same problem the electronics are fried...!!
Thankfully we insured it for an extra 3 years !

Totally agree about not using it when you're not around; I won't either and mine isn't Beko.
I do have a Beko dryer in the Garage that is out of use at the moment, I am just awaiting to get round to repair number 5 on it (one heating element change and next repair will be 4th belt change).
It's 3 and a half years old. My sister bought a Beko dryer in May last year and it went faulty June this year (one month out of warranty). It's like it is timed just to last the warranty and then break. So totally know where you're coming from with your washers.
