Automatic Washer - The world's coolest Washing Machines, Dryers and Dishwashers

"Liver Special" makes me gag just reading the recipe-seriously-LIVER Smoothie?Considering what livers do-I will pass.Toxins from your body or whatever "owned" the liver last accumilate there. If you make the liver smoothie with polar bear liver-you will die-polar bear livers are TOXIC!!
The "Electro Sink" is back-it is an interesting device-The motor drives on this-the blender drive looks like a Waring "Wagon Wheel" drive and the other motor looks like a Blendtec drive socket!Nonetheless a cool machine and would make a neat find. The pushbutton faucet controls-that would be a worry-what if they fail? Will the water flow all of the time or not at all when the button is pushed. Can you "blend" the water temps with this?-like what you could do with a "joystick" faucet or one with a control knob for hot or cold.

We used to love to make Ice Cream with this thing. However, I think my favorite was making a shake in the blender. It was the first blender I ever saw. Some years ago, I stripped the whole thing down and had it re-chromed. I even made a custom faceplate for it with a silk screen that said "Darlene's Sink Center".

My Mother loved it and I promised her that I would keep it going as long as she was alive. She just passed away a month ago...

I plan on going over to her house and making a video of the thing in a few days. Most of the stuff still works. I could never find a blender for it after the one we had gave up.

Last year on EBAY I missed someone selling all the attachements as New Old Stock. That would have been amazing to have all those pieces.

It was pretty rugged. Basically, there are three valves. A center mixing valve and one each for Hot and Cold. When you push both buttons you got the mix and then you adjusted the temp and flow with the three valves. What you find out is that you really don't need to mess that much with the temp. You either want Hot Warm or Cold.

We did stop using the Dishwashing Wand. It was the main thing that would leak. I rebuilt the diverter on it several times.

The whole thing ran from 24 VAC and a transformer that was installed under the sink. It is still the original one and works just fine.

The only place I ever saw another one was on the Dick Van Dyke show. The one they had there was missing the motors on either side. I think they thought it looked too big for the sink they had on the show.

Check back in about a week and I will post some video..

Greg
