We can get most any Mexican product here in San Diego because of our proximity to the border. I have gone to every Mexican and ethnic grocery I know of in SD and in other parts of Southern California and have never seen the Bajaespuma (green bag) version of Ariel. We have many other types of Mexican detergents (the good Mexican versions...with phosphates) but I have never been able to find Bajaespuma. All of the regular versions of Ariel still reference using Bajaespuma for front loaders but it is no where to be found.

I know someone in the NE part of the US found it recently. Was it on clearance? I am beginning to think it has long been discontinued. Anyone else have a source?

Thanks,
Bob

I just found it recently here in Connecticut at Food Bazaar, which is primarily a Latino chain. Also spotted some at Compare Foods, another Latino chain. Interesting thing is that it is sometimes there and sometimes not. Noticed the same thing with other bagged mexican and other Latino powders.

I've been buying it at C-Town (in a Latin neighborhood) here in New Haven. Wonderful smell and it seems like it has phosphates in it, but they're already dumbing down some of the other Ariels.
