Hey guys!
Has anyone tried Ariel with febreze!?! I've done 2 loads with it so far and its fantastic, cleans well smells nice and actually rinses well! I really like it!

Hey Darren
I noticed it in the supermarket yesterday. What formula did you pick up? ie: liquid/powder?. Is it a nice fresh detergent smell or more like an overpowering softner/comfort smell?

Hi Lucidone!
I bought it in powder form, i'm really impressed. As i thought ariel was beginning to slip.

It's not overpowering. As long as you have a machine that rinses adequately. I've just used my hoover logic. I was amazed the 2nd rinse was clear! I didnt use masses of it tho. So time will tell what its like when more is used!

Think I'll Have To Get Some!

I must say, im very intrigued! I must say tho, everyone stay away from Persil Aloe Vera liquid! lol I'm using it at the minute and I can honestly see why it was on sale :P hehe. It's useless at washing and takes 5 decent level rinses to rinse out! which really bugs me lol

Anyone else had a simular experience with the said product?:)

I agree 100% with you there!! This has gotta be the worst detergent i've bought in ages! as this dosnt only perfom poorly in terns of washing but never rinses out!! used it again tonight, had to have Super Rinse selected for the full 5 rinses again lol, not happy!! lol :P

I've had the same problem with most Persil liquids. It completely suds locks the machine while washing to the point that you can't even see the clothes in the drum and it activates the extra rinse on my machine sometimes twice, so it ends up doing 5 rinses. Terrible product. I thought it was me overdosing but i've dropped it down to using less than 50 mls and this still produces foam! Will stick with Areil.

I love persil liquid - do u have hard water ?

I find it suds , but i like that :) rinses ok for me in my soft water area. Cleans well and has a nice smell

I've found the same with Persil liquid... if you use too little it rinses OK but doesn't wash, if you use enough for it to clean (or even 50ml) it doesn't rinse out at all! I've found Ariel and Bold to be better when it comes to liquid detergent, though the Persil liquids smell the nicest!

Might buy some Ariel with Febreze - only real thing that I don't like about the new Ariel bio is the smell. Rinsing was an issue for me with the Ariel Colour & Style powder, but using the Sensitive powder at the moment (along with my other regulars Bold and Persil) and the Sensitive powder seems to wash and rinse really well.

Talking fo Persil Non Bio, has anybody noticed that Persil Non Bio isn't washing as well at the moment? Previous box we had was fine but the other day I washed some sheets, and a load of towels before that both at 95*C. Both loads had bloodstains and none of them were removed, whereas the last box of Persil Non Bio did and all my other powders do too. Very bizarre!

Jon as we've both said about the bio ariel in person were not too fond, the ariel with febreze doesnt smell ANYTHING like the bio one. It smells really fresh and nice. And thankfully isnt overpowering. unless you someone has a terribly bad machine for rinsing i cant say that it would be overpowering. Unless you emptyed the whole box in lol. which i dont recommend lol.
