During the on-camera interviews of tonight's episode of My Crazy Obsession I did go into some topics around creating this website and how popular it has become as well as vacuumland, but I purposely did not mention the actual addresses of the websites (www.automaticwasher.org and www.vacuumland.org). While I have no idea if any of that footage will make it into the program, I did specifically ask the producers not to mention the names of the sites as well. But if any of that part of the interviews do make it into the program, I do suspect that this might cause some curiosity out there and people will be finding the site via google.

With that said I ask that everyone please be on the lookout for suspisous activity and if you notice anything odd please let me know ASAP.

Thanks everyone, I sure will appreciate everyone's help.

Are you able to tally how many people look in or sign up by

Yes for the most part I can. But we will have company over tonight watching the show with us, so I will wont be able to do it right away.

That video is awesome stuff! Love all the colour arranged Hoovers, plus the mixers on the slelves in the colourful kitchen!

Wish I could watch it...

"Exploder" watch

. . . and general high alert mode has been initiated!

Hoping I can take advantage of the time difference and view the show at 7 PM Pacific this evening -- just in case I want to watch again at 10!  I am a Dish DVR dunce.

I don't have cable, dish or anything of that nature. I called a friend of mine to see if he'll record it for me. I wonder if after it's preview it might be available on Hulu?

THAT WAS FABULOUS!!!!!

Congrats, Fred and Robert! you guys did an excellent job. I was expecting the editors to put in all "look at these crazy people and their crazy hobby". But it really wasn't! It was a great showcasing of what we do I think.

I liked that stair machine. I wasn't aware that they even made anything like that!
Our house doesn't have stairs, but if it did I'd want one too!

A lot of interesting facts came out in the show. I didn't know that Raymond Lowey designed the exterior of the 50' Fridgidaire... and that you don't have a machine newer than 1965... if I had known you had a "wash in" every couple of weeks, I'd probably have come by to do my laundry when I was MSP based.

Your house was simply amazing, I could get lost for days just looking around!

Lol you guys, remember this is television, yes the WO-65's exterior was designed by Raymond Lowey, but the rest, ummmmm, its television :-)[this post was last edited: 3/29/2012-00:27]

Hate to sound dumb but

what would be suspicious? and to look out for ... what?

The lady that followed after with the dolls ...Umm, was a little..."the call is coming from inside the house" LOL
But you guys were just great!

If you Google "Washing Machine Collection", aw.org i

On Thursday morning, aw.org is the first link, also first for "washing machine collectors". I ran the experiment because I was curious whether the localization that Google performs would give me different results. Now, though, it seems a good possibility that recent searching has bumped aw.org up to the top.
