..and finally, for the fun of it, the Oster Airjet - the finest looking hair dryer I have ever seen. A piece of art all by itself.

The advertising for this Sunbeam toaster advises, "Makes toast without popping or banging - when the toast is ready it is delivered smoothly and silently" or something along that line. I am paraphrasing. I had one of these too, and really loved it, but eventually it stopped working.

Then someone gave me one of those "expensive upscale toasters" and it took FOREVVVVERRRR to make toast. It was a beautiful thing, but useless.

Now we are using a modern model that has nothing to distinguish itself other than it makes good toast, and makes it fast, and does have wide enough slots for bagels.
