anyone collect the Avon perfume bottles that came in the shape of vehicles of all
descriptions?I remember cars from antique to current, trucks, motorcycles, boats,
motortrikes,golf carts,RVs,dune buggies,and so on...
Used to love playing with these as a child-the little blue dune buggy with the
chrome "engine"cap was a fave.

Well. my grandmother was a top selling Avon lady in those years making Presidents Club yearly from 1969-83. So she has most of the cars, as well as the bicentennial bottles, and women figurines as well as the plates and some of the Cape Cod pieces, and beer steins. so one day I'm gonna have a ton of Avon bottles of which I will consider an instant collection and display

vehicule shaped Avon bottles?

I must be living on another planet. Have you got any pictures? The only stuff they sell here is in the regular shower gel bottles, those spray+mist containers, maybe a squeeze-tube or so. Nothing spectacular. A spray can maybe, alright. But vehicule bottles?

Welcome to Earth!

Avon decanters were the rage for many years. The men's aftershave and cologne bottles tended to be larger with, of course, more masculine themes. See link...

The only decanter I have is an Irish Setter. I think I bought it from a friend of mine's mother who was an rep, and gave it to my father for a holiday/birthday. Our family pet was an Irish Setter...

hm....

thank you for the link ;-)

but wtf....? reminds me of those old-style smoke-killer figurines, some china cat or dog sculptures (plain hollow inside and having a lavender oil soaked sponge in them along with a light bulb to make the stuff evaporate). Personally I wouldn't buy any of them, but there must be stuff for every soul on earth.
Strange... (ok, we have these horrible coo coo clocks, abominable and tasteless, I HATE them).

regular spray can user here. I think I will stay classic. Good luck to all collectors, though. To each his own.
