Jeff from Mansfield expressed a want for this set that I got from Imperial Bob a couple of years ago. They have sat untouched in my workshop since then. So I finally pulled them out, hooked them up and got them running again. Jeff is from Mansfield area and is very fond of this great Westinghouse design. So from Mansfield to where ever Bob got them in the DC area, back to my house in Ohio, and now back home to point of origin--Mansfield Ohio. Yeah! Good luck with them Jeff!

Double Graphics on the dryer. The dryer has double graphics on the panel that snaps off and can be turned around, as the dryer is made to be used either as a stack, or turned upsidedown and used setting on the floor. The graphics are flipable to accomodate it either way.......a very ingenious design on Westinghouse's part!

Jimmy, got to play with these at the 2002 convention in Bob's basement. I am so glad you held them and have found a loving homje for them. they are truely in a class all unto themselves. And thank you for the great close-up pix. Where the pair was in Bob's basement, it dind't have good enough light for me to see all the detail.

The Dryer

John and I rescued the dryer from the loading dock of Reliable Home Appliances in the early 90s. It sat in my basement for a while. John was given the pink washer by Jon up in Boston. Bob saw them and since we did not have room and knew that they were not any outstanding pieces of engineering, we gave them to him. The white area around the window on the washer has some sort of soft white vinyl covering, or at least it did when we had it. I also wound up with one of the basic washers that Robert Stokes liked so it went with him to live in his Home For Wayward Westinghouse Appliances in Nanjemoy, MD.
