Automatic Washer - The world's coolest Washing Machines, Dryers and Dishwashers

Help Support :

Look at how many posters just up and stopped posting all day, just because they didn't want to cause Robert any trouble!

Maybe the words and rhetoric from some may have seemed harsh, but perhaps they point the way to a more peaceful journey for everyone, going forward.

I get the sense that many members have been sort of sitting on their frustrations for a while now. Maybe we can build on what we've shared here, and continue to exchange ideas.

I Can Help!

Just let me know what I can do!

Since the last posting regarding bandwith issues, have taken to posting only links in my posts to items I've spied on eBay and elsewhere. As another poster stated downloading media files drinks up bandwith, especially when the images are not sized properly (many eBay sellers fail to do this).

So Glad that this situation has been resloved...

Thank you Robert for all that you do for us.

2007 is going to be a great year for AW.

Now back to our regularly scheduled program.....

What will we do when food, water, electricity gasoline are n

It is interesting to note the behavior and attitude that emerged with even the FUTURE threat of not having this website for a few days monthly. Panic and worry and blame solve nothing.

The "Me first, screw you, I am better than you" attitude came right out! Shamelessly. The very same one others have been loudly accused of.

Newsflash:
This site is not a right; it is a huge privilege. Don't like something /someone? Don't click on it, or click to shut it.

Glenn, excellent explanation, but I think the images it inspired would have been much more graphic and possibly burned into memory if a whole street were served by only a 2 inch sewer line. Instead of trickles of water, you would have great cataracts of water going the wrong direction, veritable tsunamis of tsewage, victims of brain injury from being suddenly blasted up to the bathroom ceiling and many other forms of excitement. Again, thank you for your excellent explanation. I hope I did not detract from its quality.

This site is a huge priviledge....and if one doesn't like something they see or read...don't take it personally, and don't attack the poster. It's just their opinion. I'm sure folks can come up with some kind of humorous response, rather then "you're an asshole". It's quite amusing to read bantering when it's not mean spirited. We ain't gonna always agree! And that's perfectly okay.

I love this site

I am so glad the bandwidth was resolved. I love this site, including all of the bickering. I need to see opinions other than my own narrow ones! I love my Automatic Washers, and other appliances, but I enjoy seeing other opinions of world events and even politics.

I do keep my posted pictures in the 640x480 format, and I think they are quite clear. That would help.

And thanks to DADoES Jetcone and Robert for brains and financial support!!

Toggle wirtes, "It is interesting to note the behavior and attitude that emerged with even the FUTURE threat of not having this website for a few days monthly."

Unfortunately, as soon as the threat was lifted, all the static returned. It was nice having a few days of nothing but appliance related threads and postings on all forums. Oh well, back to picking and choosing what to read and ignoring everyone else.

Hopefully the fluff (within reason) will stay in the yellow and the serious business in the blue and pink.

This way we can all get a bit of what we like and or have come to expect while respecting ourselves, each other and especially our genorous web-master and other benefactors.
