Are you a lonely dryer in need of a washer? Do you spend sleepless nights dreaming of the union you once shared? I do too, and it’s a rough life. Maybe we can help each other.
A little bit about me:
I was married for a long time to a wonderful dryer and we served each other well. I stuck by him faithfully, through sickness and through health, and believe me, towards the end, there was plenty of sickness. It broke my heart to hear his screeching and moaning with each tumble of his drum. Then that fateful day came where the horrible sound of metal tearing through metal told me the end was here. He died. And I was left alone, and broken hearted.
And get this! The cold hearted bastids who owned us, couldn’t even wait a day before replacing him, but not only that, (here’s the worst part, brace yourself) they replaced me too! Yes, you read that right, can you believe anyone would be so cruel??? Oh sure, they wanted a younger couple, a matching set, “BUT I’M STILL PERFECTLY GOOD!!!” I screamed. It seems to have fallen on deaf ears though. Who knew humans don’t speak Appliance?
I’ve grieved alone in this dark corner of the basement for too long, and now it’s time I move on with my life. I can’t really say I remember much about my life before my current owners bought the house I live in 4 years ago. The Dryer and I were here together, but we were not a matched set. I’m a KitchenAid and I work just fine, thank you very much! I may not be as pretty or as shiny as that new little tart of a washer they brought in, but I get the job done, and I have way more experience that she does!
A little but about you:
At this point in my life, I can’t be too picky. Heck, you don’t even really have to be a dryer, I’d be willing to give a clothes line a shot. Life’s short, lets do some wash together!
