Caused us plenty of grief selling our old house. Damn woman that was our agent insisted that our colour choices were terrible, our bathrooms were hideous and our basic white kitchen (1987) didn't have enough new in it. Yet we still sold the house, and two years later, it was for sale again, looking quite different - but apart from a new stove top and perhaps some new lights, everything remained. Funny that.
I don't get why people buy granite counter tops, yes they are durable, but can be dark and rather ugly. Granite floor tiles are great in commercial locations, as they can withstand plenty of abuse before the airport is refurbished (every 10 years or so?). Our kitchen is the 2nd kitchen in the house, as part of an upgrade to the house.
For an Pinkish-Apricot colour, its not bad for an 82 kitchen. A little scratching near the stove top (knives and no boards), but still VERY good condition for its age (and being "Chip-Board"). I know of many with 1960's wooden-laminated kitchens. Still looking smart AND are still VERY functional
