Beko 6 Months On!

Today, i decided to tke so pictures of the beko, after six months the motor sounds like its about to quit the susspension is recked and don't get me started on the out-of-balance control.anyway i took some pics of it getting its montly filter cleanout included is a pic of the motor and two videos if anyone has any trouble playing the videos just let me know and i'll put them on youtube.

Luke, thanks for the video, looks good to at least see that the bubbles in the window. How much water does the wash cycle use?

What did you do to modify the water level? If I could get a FL machine that used that much water I'd be more convinced. With most new US FL washers, you hardly see any water at all.

Could the suspension be wrecked due to the increased modified water level?

And you were wondering why....

The motor is giving up and the suspension is shot....

Modern machines cant cope with that much water- yes my Hoover A3308 and similar half fill the drum on rinse, but the machine can cope - it was designed for it.....

I wonder if other posters on here have had motor problems for the same reason!

basicly my machine is a piece of s**t, since day one the susspension has been squeeking, and its actually the other way around with this machine if i leave the machine with the amount it fills with itself, which by the way is not very much, the motor struggles to cycle, if i don't add more water it takes ages for it to get the cloths wet, also if i felt that adding more water would damage the machine which i paid for out of my own money as a present for my mam cause she was sick of the candy machine,then i wouldn't have done it!

I'm not trying to be insulting or anything, it's just physics. Every extra litre of water adds an extra kilogram of weight to the suspension and can make life a lot more difficult for the motor. These machines are designed to fill to their preset levels and generally speaking don't have much room in the design for extra water or very heavy loads.

It may take ages to get the clothes wet, but that's how the machine's designed to work and they will come out clean in the end.

i value your point MRX and that may be so but i only added extra water for the video and i've only ever done it once before, and i does washe good (when it wants to) but yesterday i had a wash on and i did nothing to it i didn't add more water or anything but the motor sounded terrible especially when it was spinning it even drowned out the extracter fan(which is pretty loud) even my mam was saying it and the machine runs much more smoothly with more water in it.

true saying buy cheap buy twice matey, i would rather handwash than use a beko, as for the water level there is not a problem with adding extra water, i have been doing that in my hotpoint for over 3 years and never had any faults at all with the machine, the water levels in my machine are just under the half way mark on the door and its on 3+ times a day every day.... its just a beko thing, i know a few people on a budget and they have bought beko and have been having the same problems especially the pump block when the machine is full of water... take a hammer to it and put it out of its misery lol
