Morning Lee, have never seen an old wesher that doesnt need pipework replaced, those clips are usually the issue, cutting into the rubber, I usually but hose clamps on new pipes, much safer than trying to get them back on without an eye injury!!

Got to storage and found the Bendix parts when you need any - Darren C and myself got them from Ians shop in Stamford when he was closing, mainly for the smaller bolt down machine.....

What a wonderfull

collection of parts Mike, and lovely packaging, great you saved them. Sorry to seem to be begging Mike, but kris' bolt down needs a new door gasket if you have a spare, I was thinking trying out pressure cooker gaskets as a starting point.

Thanks, obviously no hurry as he's all go with the lt.

Right on with the bodge now what can I use this time, modern drain hose is too big, found that out already.

Several other pieces of pipe kicking around where to big or far too small.

Wait a minute; I have a yellow garden hose will that fit.

Yes it’s very tight but I think it will do, so I sacrifice a foot of my garden hose.

Soaked in boiling water to soften up and stretched over the handle of a screwdriver, a little washing up liquid a lot of pushing and swearing the sump end is on and secured.

The float switch tub end, lots of corrosion here and some of the spout has broken off so this must be looked at in the future to prevent any further decay.

Water limiter set to 9 maximum high water level.

Filled with cold water till the float switch clicked, about one inch up the door window.
