So I've been looking at many FL designs and I think the best one that would succeed as a combo would be the Maytag Neptune.

I'm thinking a stainless steal or porcelain on steal outer tub for obvious reasons. The "sump" as the bottom would have 3 long calrod heating elements totaling 5000 watts capable of running in open air. I'm was contemplating of a 1,600 watt calrod in sump heater and two 2,500 watt halos but that just makes things more difficult.

The left back of the sump (or left back of the tub) would have a flexible boot that connects up to a large, vented siphon break. This would serve two purposes, one being to fill the tub with water the other to bring in well over 500CFM of air into the tub from the back of the machine during the dry cycle.

The front top of the tub would have another boot heading toward a 500 watt blower above the tub or down near the shocks which would connect to a vent line heading outside.

A lint filter might have to be added somewhere in all of this.

Oh- there will be a re-circulation pump with a hose headed toward the top center of the outer tub that will basically "shower" the clothes through the inner tub.

I'm thinking the slanted Neptune design will help with drying. What do others think?
