Re: Trivia Post Above:

I stand corrected from my Trivia Posting above, that I had written that Dick York was also Gay, but that was not true. He did as others mentioned, Passed-Away from Emphaizema {sp}.

From everything I've heard, the Bewitched movie isn't worth seeing. Personally, I have a low tolerance for Will Ferrell in anything.

Bewitched Movie

Just saw the movie....well, it was cute. (in the south "cute" is the kiss of death)...I went in with low expectations and they were met. My kids thought it was fun, maybe I was a bit jaded.

Movies are released today as a brief stop before going onto DVD,where the real money is these days. People who attended the advance showings of Bewitched stated it was a bomb and basically was a remake of "Sleepless In Seattle".

It is a movie that cannot decide what it wishes to be; a remake of the popular sitcom series, or a romance/love story. Personally think a telly remake would be better as a sitcom, the story just does not lend itself well to movies.

Nora Ephron

I don't know what happened to ol' Nora. She used to be a very witty and insightful columnist back in the Esquire days, and her novel "Heartburn" is hillarious, but the schlock she has put out since she moved back to Hollywood is worthless.

And to think that she is the daughter of Henry and Phoebe Ephron, who wrote some of the funniest movies of their time.

I'm a Bewitched Lover

I have loved Bewitched all my life, personally I wish they would have just left the show alone, but they didn't.

If you were a Bewitched lover like me I would recommend the movie, if nothing else to see scenes from the original show on the BIG-SCREEN! Otherwise I would see it, but I would wait for the DVD.

The only good thing about the Bewitched Movie

The complete 1st season of the series on DVD. Being a huge lover of the Bewitched, I had a great many of the episodes on video tape. Even though the stations hack them up to make room for more commercials. You can image my dismay when the VCR decided to eat one of the tapes.

I Just hope they keep releasing the rest of the series.
