Blackstone Dryer
This model was neither the first one made, nor the last one made. Probably early 1970s, but I'd have to check. Latest models did not have the foot pedal. Fairly basic dryer. One frequent problem was the metal ring that was part of the drum support would wear out. There was a felt bearing to support the drum, to which graphite would have to be added. But if the customer caught the squeaking and rubbing noise too late, well, the drum had to be replaced. The cost to replace a drum was high, because the shipping cost for such a large volume item would be similar to the shipping cost of an entire dryer.
I would pass on buying this dryer, unless you just wanted to add a Blackstone dryer to your collection.
