I thought I'd revive this thread with a few pictures of the load I did yesterday. It's hard to get a dishwasher full when you live alone without entertaining at the moment. I don't want to wait too long to start the machine.
We used to eat out three or four times a week due to our schedules. Since the pandemic started we now do take out maybe once or twice a week. We have a favorite food truck and restaurant that we order from. We hope in some small way to help keep them going.
Now that we are cooking more at home there are a lot more dishes. For the two of us we run the dishwasher once a day maybe every two but usually not much more than that. This was yesterday's load. Joe unloaded the dishwasher the night before so this is yesterdays' dishes. I've got some bare spots but at this point I ran it to be ready for this morning.
Ralph, BobLoad certification. The bare spots I see are minimal, just in the lower rack. The little orange bowl in the flatware basket (I do that too), if you'd needed the space, I would have put it under the mesh strainer on the bottom, front left.
for the dirty load pic's too! I did want pancakes, or brioche' french toast for brekafast, but now I'll just wait a bit and have my nanner, hard boiled egg, and protein shake with 26 grams of protein and 120 calories.
David, definitely BobLoad certification. In fact, if I had a load with the same components, I'd have placed everything the same way. Although based upon soil, I'd probably opted for the 1 hour wash. I've found it to be quite effective usual day to day soils.
This started out as what I think was a pretty magnificent Bob load. Then I forgot to take a good picture of the bottom rack after the wash and included the skillet that had scorched on onions and cabbage. Everything was spotless except the large stainless skillet. The dishwasher cleaned better than expected, but it doesn't make for a stunning clean photo.
Bruce said if there had been any more dirty dishes around, he would have hidden them from me. Son the younger says, "So, what, Mom, you need someone to tell you your dishes are clean?" Cynical child.
I had a sort-of BobLoad® late this morn ... baked-on green bean casserole, mac&cheese&sausage, three scrambled egg mugs, oatmeal bowls, some other items folded-in. WM enzyme powder spiked w/STPP, Normal cycle, all gleaming after, no pics.
