Correct: they are Galaxy machines:
Made by Whirlpool and sold by Sears. I had the 1982 BD Kenmore version of this but it has since taken up residence in Charlotte NC.

Close, these are from the late 90s or early 00s. I saw these at the old Sears appliance store, and have an ad showing these in 1997. Early 90s would have the Capri name. I have also seen them on Craigslist with these consoles in white with the Kenmore swosh logo.
My parents have basically this same dryer as a Kenmore (same cabinet and door but with the fancier white metal console).
