Love this Machine
One of my favourite Bosch Machines (1995-1999) one of my mates has one in his flat, it is such a great machine, and comes with the famous 3D aquaspa wash system with cascade front fill on the prewash and rinse cycles.

One of my dream machines - I have been after one for a long time. They come up on Ebay quite often but are either in less than good condition or so far away as to make it completely impratical. This one appeared in Cheltenham and looked to be in good nick and it certainly is! Picked it up for £36.00. I had been looking for a Hoover Electron/Logic or something of that ilk but had no luck whatsoever. The Bosch is only 5kg load but big enough for me. The front fill is excellent - never had a machine that did that before - and the range of programmes is interesting - 15 degree washes on delicates or wool, soak, starching, short wash, rinse hold, anti crease tumbles after the final spin as well as variable spin control and something called IVS on the spin which I am told by Boschlover1997, is a series of spins of increasing speed up to the maximum allowed for the programme. Not sure what it is to be used for but will soon experiment! Water levels are also much more acceptable in my opinion - great rinses in particular. Made in Germany, like the proverbial tank. Am chuffed to bits to finally get one - so much so that I am even going to take some photographs and post on here! This is the first front loader I have had since 1999 and could have wished for a better one.

IVS - means Interval Spin
It basically is referred to as Reduced Creasing on their current Bosch machines.
The machine will do a burst at 400rpm, then do some fluffing (Anti Crease) of the clothes, then a 600rpm burst, then more fluffing, and finally an 800rpm burst followed by additional and extended fluffing. The machine will do an additional 800rpm burst, depending on the cycle. On very delicate cycles, it may complete two 600rpm instead of an 800rpm.
It doesn't go any faster than 800rpm when IVS (Reduced Creasing) is chosen.
