I was wanting some input on it like if I made a mistake. The only thing that bugs me is the ice maker the whole thing is,I love that it makes small square cubes but it does not hold much ice. This is the T.O.L. L.G. it has a linear compressor in it and dual evaporators in it one for the freezer and one for the fridge.I was torn between a lot of brands Samsung ,Viking,Kitchenaid, etc.I hope this fridge is a good one,but I have not heard much about a linear compressor or how they hold up.I have heard that L.G. customer service sucks by folks after it was already bought and paid for.Is there anybody in here that has a L.G. fridge?

I can't comment on the fridge itself,

but there is an easy way to deal with your ice situation....whenever the bin is full or near full, dump the contents into a zipper seal freezer weight bag...they make them at least up to the gallon size.

I got my new fridge from the last remaining mom-and-pop dealer in the immediate area, and they don't currently sell LG.  I went with a Whirlpool bottom freezer, and have been quite pleased with it so far.

Good luck with your LG!

Extra Bin

Your new toy should already have an extra ice bin included in the freezer drawer.  Plus, supposedly, this machine can make more ice in a shorter amount of time because the cubes are smaller.  Further, isn't there a TURBO ICE setting on the touch panel?  Let us know how you like it...

31 cu ft is a LOT of SPACE!  If your AC goes out in the summer, you can move all the food over to one side and then sit in the other to stay cool. :)

Also glad to see they modified the door seal instead of the previous model's rubber to rubber connection.
