A while back there was some discussion of bubble bandit going on so I thought I'd post an update. Been using it since mid December and so far, pretty impressed. I only fill the main wash cup on my KM Ultrawash as per the BB instructions. Glassware comes out spotless, silverware shines, and dishes come out clean. Period. However, I really hadn't had a chance to test it until this week. Had some friends over for the Super Bowl on Sunday and in typical Super Bowl fashion, had LOTS of food. Dips, wings, burgers, and a cheese tray. Needless to say, some nasty dishes when all was done. As I'm loading the dishes into the dishwasher, my friends wife asks me if I don't have to rinse them off first. I just said nope, scrape the big pieces into the disposal and then let the DW do it's job! Being as the game ended late, I didn't bother running the DW until the next evening so all that mess had time to harden. To top it off, my girlfriend had been by the previous evening and we had some wine and her glass still had some lipstick on it(as well as a little red wine left in it). So Bubble Bandit got it's first test and I will say, it's a keeper! Due to excessive amounts of food and grease on some of the dishes, I also did partially fill the prewash cup this time, then just ran a Pots and Pans cycle. 2 hours later, perfectly clean dishes. Drinkware sparkled(no reminders of wine or lipstick on the glass), plates all clean, and silverware shined! All of this without the excessive foaming the Finish gelpacks caused. I know it's little more expensive than Cascade or Finish powder, but the stuff definitely gets the job done.
