Built in soap dispenser 'trick'

Automatic Washer - The world's coolest Washing Machines, Dryers and Dishwashers

Help Support :

Done that to mine a decade ago, no way am I going to keep refilling that tiny bottle of soap.  I used a large hose that fit over the end of the pump, some dispensers come with a relatively small hose.

Yeah, I've never heard of not just lifting the pump and filling it from the countertop side. Sounds like a solution in search of a problem.

I've never had one of these built in dispensers. I could put one in here, and probably would if it were up to me. There's an extra hole from where we took out the sprayer hose that always leaked, so we could mount one in that spot.

We do have a plastic dispenser of dish soap sitting on top of the sink for handwashing or just washing something small, we usually use that. If something bigger we use the dishwashing liquid under the sink.

Another simple trick to refilling these dispensers is to use a funnel. I know it seems simple but without the funnel the soap gets stuck going in and gets all over or you get a bubble and it just stops and runs over the sides. The funnel eliminates this mess and much easier to fill.

Well, that is the dispenser my kitchen sink needs & too bad I never thought of just pulling the nozzle off (well, turning it, if the bottle stays in below) to make simply filling it--I have that maschochist streak in me, endlessly going under the sink to remove & endure the even more futile task to replace & keeping the newly-filled contents, that the tiresome task of pouring in, all stay completely intact...
