I nticed that the Bush names is used on washing machines in Argos. The Bush name famed by radios was bought by Argos in 2008. Are these machine made by Haier or Beko, Anyhow they look chaep to me, Also saw a Russell Hobs in Asda that looked crap as well

Bush

Yep they are Haier machines. Cheap Chinese rubbish. You'd be better off with an Indesit than one of these.

Tom.

Russel Hobbs

I think are made by Vestel, still one to stear clear of if you ask me.

I thought Argos had owned the Bush name for a lot longer than that, didn't they used to use Alba too?

Either way, my Grandad told me when he worked on the Co-op electrical department in the 50s even then Bush and Alba were the brands to steer clear of.

He always used to recommend Servis for customers buying laundry equipment, that brought a smile to my face :-)

I thought so I like Zanussi and some Indesit products but Is applaing that there is so much cheap junk now in the shops

Chinese Zanussi

You best look out for the Zanussi ZWG1140M then because it is made in China by a company called Little Swan. Let's hope they don't all go this way.

Apparently the Chinese Zanussi‘s have a split tub, so I guess that makes them better then the native models in one respect.

I believe that the new Bosch Logixx Washer Dryer is also made by Little Swan as well.

Thats not good news for European manufactuers If Zanussi went all the way to china then I would go elsewhere
