replacing eye level range
Well, if it EVER came down to moving out the Flair and replacing it with another built in, I guess the bottom cabinet on which the Flair rests at the present time would have to be taken out as there would be no similar replacement available unless it would be another Flair or comparable unit from that era.
As I write this, the Flair is sitting in many pieces on the flagstone in the family room. My friend took it apart last weekend and tested it. He thinks it doesn't need all that much and is coming back this weekend to put it back together and see if the burners will fire up. He tested both saftey switches and says they are both fine. So....................I can't wait for tomorrow.
Oh, and about that freezer door-I would say it depends on what the owner needs to store in the door. Because two are adjustable-any sort of variations are possible. That's just the way I look at it.
