Carbona bleach tablets

Has anyone tried Carbona chlorine bleach tablets? They look like an intersting throwback to the days when powdered bleach was commonplace. Can anybody tell me how effective they are before I spend my dollar?

I have used them and find them convenient and effective. I don't like the odor of liquid chlorine bleach so these seem to do a good job without a strong odor. I have also used the packaged dry chlorine bleach that you find in a laundramat vending machine, which works well also.

Local shop had them on close out, but didn't bother as rarely use chlorine bleach. Besides would have to crumble the tabs to make a powder as they are designed for top loading washing machines. Would NEVER a chlorine bleach tab in a front loader to tumble around with the laundry.

Can by powdered chlorine bleach at any hardware/pool supply store, which does the same thing just without all the fancy additives and such.
