CBS Segment to air next Sunday

Automatic Washer - The world's coolest Washing Machines, Dryers and Dishwashers

Help Support :

What a nice story! Very well done (even if the reporter did refer to the control tower Frigidaires as Blackstones).

A lot of times stories such as this are reported like "Look at these nut jobs!", but this was different. It was presented as a bunch of regular people who just happen to like laundry equipment and machines. Good job Guys!

I suspect we'll see a surge in membership here after more people see this story.

OH MY G-O-O-O-O-O-O-D that was freakin' AWESOME!! All of you did a great job representin' the AW family. So many cool machines featured; especially those Blackidaires.

Not having met any of you in person, it was great to hear your voices. I was hoping a box of Rosalie's Zero Suds would make an appearance...and it did.

Wow. Just wow.

Gotta watch it again!

I thought they did

a wonderful job of representing the club and our hobby! Bill,Amy, Henri & Andy were a pleasure to work with and I love the fact that they had most of us talking on camera.

I think it gave a good slice of the club. Glad you all liked it , I was told they had 6+ million viewers!!

So we are now OUT there !! LOL.

And yes I am so glad Rosalie's got a cameo shot with Paul saying "Oh its like Christmas" while opening the box !!!

Launderess , thank you - you must come with laundry next time !!

Mr. Geist  and his son "Willie"  a co-host on "Morning Joe"  recently talked about their  book, "Good Talk, Dad".   He came across as really enjoying everyone and the vintage machines.  Was the Vintage SQ his favorite?   Congrats Gentlemen on a very well done, fun segment!

Great segment!

Thank you Jon for making this happen! Very well done; it looks like everyone was having a great time! It was nice to "meet" more of our membership. I've only met John & Jeff in person, and hope to eventually meet more members.

Love your collection Jon!

CBS Segment Video

For some reason, CBS has not posted this segment on their website along with every other segment for today's show. I saw it live, and it was nicely done.

One of the most interesting things to me that Bill did not cover was the fact that interest in vintage machines grows because modern machines do not actually CLEAN clothes. In most areas of technology, newer machines do the task BETTER -- except washing machines!

Great Job Everyone!

So much fun to watch and see everyone!

Jon, glad he did not call your Charcoal Frigidaire set a "Samsung".
