Ok, of all the things to do with a washing machine, this has to be one of the most creative things I've seen. Just watch.

I guess it would help if one lived on a farm and were used to such action.

I spied the chopping block over on the right, and the big bucket-O-blood beside the washer, lol...

It did seem to pluck that chicken pretty thoroughly, and maybe tenderizing it in the process. I guess chicken plucking is not a very enjoyable task at best. Are they normally plucked before they are gutted?

Boohoo! Take mercy on the poor little chickin.

Tears welled up in my eyes when I saw this. What a cruel world this is for a lonely, old chook - beheaded, beaten, battered and breft of its feathery plumes.

I want to sit that farmer on one of them up and down Frigidaire agitator machines.

Are you for real?

How else do you suppose ANY type of meat ends up on your plate without it being killed and stripped down to some extent?

I'm a big fan of free range produce as well as quick and painless kills, but I also realize that meat doesn't appear out of thin air.

If you want a good reason to get teary eyed, watch youtube clips of different nationalities frying/boiling/slowly killing live animals.....all in the name of tradition. IMO, that's cruelty in its highest form! Those are the people that need a ride on top of a GM Frigidaire pulsator.

BTW, I consume very little meat, going several month stretches without touching the stuff. I've just never been a big fan of it since I was conceived.

Well, I guess if you like your chook battered and bruised before it gets boiled or broiled, this is the ticket.

Pretty effective but violent plucking action going on there. Not the thing for sensitive types who prefer to believe that meat is harvested in a hygienic and non-violent manner.

Ugh

I've broken a lot of chicken necks and plucked and singed even more; frankly this video creeped me out. I can't imagine what that bird tasted like after being battered like that. Perhaps it wouldn't make a difference, but I just have to wonder.

Looks like it worked well. At the next booth, they were probably fileting catfish on a ironing board with an electric knife, also very effective. alr2903

Chicken soup

When they cooked that yard bird it was probaly so broken up and brused that it litterally turned into soup.

We raised chickens when I was younger at home living in the country. We chopped off their heads, poured boiling water on them and the feathers came right off. Of course they stank to high heaven!

Its a miracle I can still eat chicken!

That machine gave me a bad case of the creeps!
