Really interesting to see offerings from the mother country and some different designs. Love the stainless kettles and those kitchen units. People here keep those 'built under' fridges for the purpose of keeping drinks cold or buy them for college dorms and not much else (we call them bar fridges). How do families get by with them? They can't keep much more than a jug of milk and maybe a plate or two of food. I have a 500 litre fridge/freezer and a small chest freezer and find that just suffices.

Belling Hot Cupboard

i suppose from the styling this must be from the 1980s but I have never seen anything like it before. Trollies to keep food hot ("Hostess" trollies) are common enough but this sort of hot cupboard - no. I am surprised that the wood veneer is up to it.

I should say i am well versed with commercial hot cupboards in the course of my work, but they are all stainless steel

That Whirlpool dryer is indeed a post-Philips one. Overhere in the NL they didn't come with a window in the door, perhaps that was different in the UK? If not, then it is a Bauknecht door, some Bauknecht models had indeed a window.
