Cleaning wringer washer rolls

I asked a wile back how the get the blue stain from new blue jeans off my wringer rolls. I got a few hints but none worked. I fond what does!!! I used sand paper a medium grit. Now there new again! I wanted to share this info with other wringer washer lovers. I was told this by an old gentleman who used to work for Speed Queen in Ripon Wisconsin.

Rejuvenating with sandpaper...

I used this technique on the rolls for my 1948 Kenmore wringer washer. It worked very well.
