Ya must be doing something right, Ray.

Rich,I guess so. I usually do the washing, and my wife does not ironing. However, no ironing of the "unmentionables" (LOL).

The paisley lace curtains in the living room and (in the graduation pic of the dining room) do not need ironing. They get washed hung outside, the re-hung on the window. Then my talented hands fix the folds. (LOL) Joan made these along with the top treatments years ago. You see when you buy quality material, (which we bought on Grand Street in New York more than 15 years ago,(this is near the jewelry district) it is worth it.
If you buy cheap, you have to keep replacing. An old saying, "Only the rich by cheap".

Then again.....Nothing but the best for a Taurus. ROFL LOL

You probably meant by the retailers of Jewelry on Canal Street, in Chinatown. Methinks the Jewelry District generally refers to the upper 40's, west side of Manhattan.

It was many years ago. It was Hoouston Street. Does that sound familiar? Well, anyway saved a bundle on the material.
They still make this same material. The manufacturer is ADO. It is usually carried in material and decorating stores. They have loads of patterns.

I think the windows look great. You and Joan make a great team. My grandmother was only five feet tall so she would make the drapes and guess who would hang them (before I was old enough to help <ha>)? You got it....my grandfather (the mechanic and non-pro boxer) and he did a great job!!!
