Automatic Washer - The world's coolest Washing Machines, Dryers and Dishwashers

shoving everything into a single load

What's with people shoving everything into 1 load without sorting? It really drives me insane! What is wrong with these people?
Some people are just too stupid to be doing laundry! SMH! And yet they wonder why their laundry doesn't smell clean. Gee! I wonder why? People these days just expect to cram everything in and run it on cold and speed wash, and then they will claim the machine is broken.[this post was last edited: 8/31/2023-14:53]

Hmm... what exactly is a 'bespoke" washer and dryer? That seems to be the word of the year. Around here, a new veterinary clinic just opened and allegedly provides "bespoke" care for the animals. And as far as laundry, people are actually getting dumber and dumber about a very basic task. And maybe that's the issue - no one these days wants to do the necessary but mundane tasks well since everyone is so busy "changing the paradigm" (another phrase I hate) or otherwise being very important... Oh, well....

With Samsung having the worst reliability out there in appliance-ville, I would greatly caution those who would be interested in purchasing them. They are also a headache to deal with warranty issues but that's pretty much across the board these days. Absolutely nobody cares about customer service anymore.

Yes, front loader users are overall very poor at separating laundry since their large drums are very enticing to throw everything in one load using one temperature (usually cold water) then complain about mold and mildew issues soon after.

Large capacity machines in general are for people who are lazy. Many folks would complain my Whirlpool has a small capacity and to a degree it does however, I usually separate all my shirts from my shorts, to underwear and socks etc. and never have issues with anything. Even if I were to throw everything in so to speak, it would only equate to an extra large load in my Maytag A806 and A606. Definitely can squeeze just a tad more stuff in with the dual action load sensor agitator, but even then a weeks worth of my laundry isn’t all that much. Only reason why I separate everything is my shorts and socks get quite dirty from yard work every evening since I live on a acre of land compared to my shirts, if I were to throw everything in, wouldn’t end up with laundry that’s properly cleaned since it would be a little itchy afterwards.

Just to mention it’s not just FL users overloading machines it’s also TL users too thank you very much qsd-Dan.

The posts on here from one person are getting very tiring. Repeating the same crap over and over again on this forum isn’t going to change millions of people attitudes worldwide.

I’m also sick of these people being branded as lazy. It’s becoming used as frequently now as the term eco n*** and frankly it seems to be grossly unfair and vulgar.

I think a few people here need to educate themselves (Sean and Gerome) and realise we are only on this planet for a poxy 90 years if we are lucky. Life is precious. If you don’t enjoy doing laundry you are not going to spend time doing it. Period. Kids whining on this forum ain’t gonna change that either. Sean and Gerome need to get over it.

People now also have to work long hours just to provide housing food and comfort for themselves while still
Trying to enjoy the time they have on this planet. So what if they need a large capacity machine. It means they can do something they enjoy better with the time they save.

Guys you seriously need to get a grip. It’s not all about you.

I was reading some comments on a washer video and a lady said she's had her Samsung FL washer for 9 years and it's still working and she hasn't had issues. I responded to her and got the vibe that she knew how to do laundry..didn't overload and used hot water at times, left the door open, etc..

It made me wonder of a certain percentage (maybe a large percentage) of failure rates could be caused by users? Take the mold problems that took over the internet..we all know that's user error... Look how many there were and still are..I almost feel like there are actually a larger percentage of people that don't know how to do laundry properly than do... I could be wrong. But it wouldn't surprise me. And when you add to that that they make machines so much more cheaply now..depending on which side you're on... that could speed up or slow down failure..

I wondered too what Bespoke meant...I thought figured it was some marketing term like eco bubble.

doing laundry

Even if I had a large tub, I'd still sort the laundry properly according to color, fabric, and soil. Sean A806, I agree with you. College students and the masses don't give a damn about laundry. Anybody can say whatever they'd like, but I stand by my statement. Why? Because I know how laundry should and shouldn't be done. Shoving everything in leads to failure. Not fabric softener, not laundry detergent, OVERSTUFFING THEM! Oh, and let's not forget about poor maintenance habits. Don't even get me started, or I will go on. Leaving the door shut after washing, leaving wet clothes inside, on and on. The way I see it, this new stuff causes more and more people to become lazy and stupid. Say whatever you'd like, but I call these things like I see them. Off my soapbox.[this post was last edited: 9/1/2023-12:32]

You have a lack of maturity by being combative and argumentative. If you don’t want younger people to say “Ok boomer” then quit acting like the stereotypical boomer who likes to be combative towards others and have this “I am older than you are, so I know more than you” attitude. Not picking on anyone, it’s just the truth and what I see.

blocking people

To Luxflairguy, you have absolutely NO RIGHT to block people for no reason. Just because Sean and I may be young, doesn't mean we are not gonna tolerate being blocked for no reason. We live in a time where people don't care or know about laundry, and we call things as we see them. If you don't like our opinions, just move on! And we are not gonna follow the trend of bigger is better because it's not the case. Everything is built to break including these Samsung so-called Bespoke whatever that means. There are gonna be failures down the road and more consumer complaints based on the patterns we see. We call them as we see them. Learn to be CIVIL!

Samsung so-called "bespoke"

What is so "bespoke" about these machines? This is just marketing. The average consumer is so stupid that when they get these machines, and they see how big it is, they always cram everything in to the point to where nothing even moves. Then to top it all off, they just leave the door closed, encouraging mold and mildew buildup. I see failures coming down the road within the next 5 years. SMH. This cycle never ends, EVER! Does Samsung and others think we're stupid? Well, I'm not falling for any of it. I'm not convinced these are revolutionary. Most of everybody has a smart dispenser in them on the high end.

Well Well Well.. Would you just look at this wash action? I don't think this is a Bespoke but it's called Samsung FlexWash...I think all that means is that it's one of those Front load washers with an extra washer...although the small washer isn't in this video. I couldn't believe the wash action...strong recirculation... interim spins, long spray rinses...LOTS of water... I know Samsung has different FL models so not sure all of them operate this way... but if they do...this was crazy...possibly even better than LG turbo wash.

I usually don't even bother clicking on any Samsung washer but I was curious becuase of the title and the thumbnail.

mark, you need to understand that the user used the bedding cycle, which uses a lot more water, just like LG bedding cycle does the same thing. There may be a few minor differences, but the Protocall is the same.
You could not give me a Samsung washing machine, I'd take a Electrolux front loading machine any day before a Samsung, of any style they make. I don't care for their quality.

Samsung incorporates ADA accessibility out of the box on their washers and dryers. There are dots on the control panels so the user can get around the touch screen buttons, as well as different tones to denote options such as temperature, spin speed, or soil level changes. However, Samsung isn't reliable enough for me to consider them as an option otherwise, which is a pity because as a blind consumer, the accessible controls would be a real benefit to me. No other manufacturer includes this as far as I am aware.

I've wonder the same thing Mark, we've had a Samsung TV for eight trouble-free years with no issues.

Come to think of it though, my wife had a Samsung computer several years ago and hated it. Thing was always crashing.

So I guess it's just a crapshot with that brand.

They could, however when you are a large corporation, gotta make other products so the dollars roll in and make the CEO and shareholders happy. If corporate greed weren’t a thing, things would be quite different.
