I was reading on a forum online about laundromat owners that have those new SQ's that do a partial drain. They mentioned on there that it is something in the programming that makes the machine operate that way, and they said if u extend the cycle time, that it will do a complete spin and a freshwater rinse. Does anybody heere have any experience with that? I know with the older electronic control machines you could lengthen the spin but I haven't seen a manual for the new machines

In view of today's "logic", that would make sense.  longer cycle time (wash phase) means heavier soil which would be best to have a full drain rather than a partial drain with average soil.  (ugh).

I had struggle to get the laundry company to extend cycles and increase water levels for our apartment. We had a combo of laborers and babies needing better cleaning and rinsing. I left a short hose with instructions to add water for my tenants. They finally relented and added a full rinse. It was no skin off their nose since I paid the water.

Freddy, they've been doing that for a while as part of the whole "water conservation" thing. I don't like it either. I've used those machines a few times and my clothes just didn't feel right. They didn't feel clean.

A partial rinsed laundry is a partial done laundry IMHO!

When I finally have to get one of these machines, because I do like top loaders, I will probably just run an entire second cycle to do the rinsing.

Extend cycle time and repeat separate rinses....of course one would do so!
I found anyway absurd a "partial rinse" as possible option....that just does not make any sense, is absurd....
Water conservation, energy star and bullshits like that....puahh!
So it is also for domestic machines......
Rather why they don't introduce again the suds return option instead of pulling out nonsense like this???
