As I've stated before on more than one occasion, I take my laundry to a laundromat to have it washed. My preference in washers is the older model Maytag top loaders.
I need to pay closer attention to the timer on the machine the next time I do laundry. It seems the rinse cycle is not over 3-4 minutes (agitating), if that. When there's a good sized load being washed, how are the clothes supposed to turn over in that short time period and get an adequate rinsing?
Is this common on home Maytag's and commercial models? I've noticed this on both old and new machines at various laundromats.
Also, the newer commercial top loaders don't fill up all the way like the older ones do. On both wash and rinse cycles, they lack roughly a gallon or so of water.
