We've had a few summer parties and a few funerals  of late and this is always a popular side dish and easy to make.  I call it Confetti because of all the colored peppers and bright colored vegetables used in it.

2 assorted peppers cut in half and diced -- I use 1/2 of each  Red, Yellow, Orange and Green pepper.

1 med. Red onion diced

1 bunch Green onions sliced

3-4 ripe Tomatoes diced

I med. can sliced Black Olives

8 oz Peperoni diced

16 oz. Angle hair pasta or pasta of your choice

7 Seas Viva Italian dressing 1/2-3/4 bottle

Mc Cormick Salad Supreme 1/2-3/4 bottle

Covered Butter Dish

The salad is indeed colorful and looks elevated from some of the dryer version of pasta salad I've encountered with its glistening coat of dressing. The blue covered dish looks like the Polish or Eastern European pottery that is coveted and quite expensive.

Looks great Matt, I make a pasta salad very similar just minus peppers and the addition of white and yellow cheese cubes. I always start with 2 1/2 lbs pasta, 1/2 gallon dressing and 1 cup salad supreme. I just do things in bulk.

I'll try using the peppers next time

Kelly, yes it's Polish, as am I!  An old family friend had been send a piece every Christmas from Vermont, but in the last year her husband has had very ill health so I'm not expecting any more.  So my small collection is at it's end....

I love this stuff......

the only variation to mine is I use Tri-Color wagon wheel pasta, and add chopped up cucumbers, and shredded cheddar cheese....I make it all year around, but a great Chilled Summer Salad......

Thanks for sharing your recipe

Specialty Shop

There is a specialty shop in the Pike Place Market that sells only these dishes. They are so expensive and so worth it. I hope you treat yourself to somre more pieces.

The salad looks wonderful as does the Polish pottery! I was at a backyard party and someone made a salad similar to yours but it wasn't as colorful and did not include the pepperoni. Yours looks much, much better and I'm anxious to try it!

I'm Polish too and have always thought that stoneware was so lovely! Makes me proud!

It looks scrumptious!  I love a cool pasta salad on hot summer day
