Cookies Anyone?

I just made a batch of homemade peanut butter cookies from the Kitchenaid recipe books.

If I could do this, I'd have my lack of husbear problem solved and he'd be here every night and be able to work at "home" during the day.

Here's the recipe for my entry in 'cookie night'. It is a doubled recipe that makes exactly 48 cookies (when using a Vollrath #30 scoop).

I am a die-hard "mise-en-place" cook. Everything always gets prepped and measured out before any assembly begins.

They look so yummy, mine were gone before I was able to get any pics. They were good, but I think I baked them a little too long. They were a little crunchy.

James, have you ever tired the flourless peanut butter cookie recipes? I did once... they had great flavor, but the dough was too wet/sticky to get a criss cross in... and it was a little too crispy as well. I like 'em soft! Oh boy, never mind!

Flourless PB Cookie

I co-worker at my old job gave me the recipe for them, and I lost it, I was moving at the time, so lord knows where it went. I've always wanted to try them. My grandmother used to put Hershey Kisses in them after they came out of the oven. My grandmother was teaching me how to cook and bake was I was only 9 years old.

Husbear is a term used quite a bit in the bear community. Since I have absolutely no interest in twinks, I'm not sure, but maybe you've coined a new word.

I love baking, but being on Weight Watchers kinda puts the kabash on it. My favorite recipe is for oatmeal cookies from an old Quaker oat meal canister (they have changed the recipe several times since). Then you turbo charge it by adding walnuts, coconut and chocolate chips. Mmmmmmmmmmmm...

No Bake Cookies

I friend of ours was visiting a while back and he made some no bake cookies that were out of this world. If I can find the recipe I will post it here.
