Automatic Washer - The world's coolest Washing Machines, Dryers and Dishwashers

Help Support :

Is this another version of a Thermomix? The price is outrageous.According to the specs the machine was built in China.Sounds like a nice thing--but the price is too high to consider. And can you run the motor while the machine is heating? And can you use it as a regular food processor?-using the slicing or grating blades?

Really ?

Looks like one of those appliances a Wealthy Housewife will buy, use it a few times, and then go back to making Reservations for dinner, take out, or back to her best friend, the Microwave.

But it will be a interesting conversation piece on her counter for a year or so before it ends up in the basement next to the bread maker.

Why don't people just cook ? They have these stupid expensive kitchens and wind up only using the dishwasher on the "Upper Rack" cycle because it's filled with cocktail glasses.

They have been on the market here for a while. Saw them already on our auction site, unused or little used. Bloody expensive for a not so versatile kitchen toy. KitchenAid has brought a lot of those gadgets on the market, they also have a Multicooker, for a much lower price btw. And then there is ofcourse the heated bowl for the KitchenAid standmixer. Perhaps the most interesting of the three.

A new gimmick.

I guess you can use it for béchamel, hollandaise, bernaise, and other sauces, and soups.
The Vita Mix blender cooks with friction heat.
I'll stick with my copper saucier' from France and a wooden spoon.

Thermomix and others

Yes this is much like the Thermomix.

The heating element is sealed into the bottom of the the metal cylinder shaped cooking container. Claims the cooking vessel is dishwasher safe too. There are videos in several languages on youtube.

Discovered that Kinwood has a similar product too. The KitchenAid model has accessories to use it as a variable speed food processor.

I have no desire to Risoto using this machine, it take the fun out of making it your self! I can see it being used here to make an Etouffee sauce!

Yes I have seen the Cooker with optional stirrer and precision heated mixer bowl both have limited used to make specialties I do not make often. The convenience does not warrant to expense in my humble world.

Makes sense.

Europe has 220-240 volts at the standard wall outlet also.
Our kids had their kitchen remodeled recently, and added an over the cook top microwave vent combination by LG. It's a nice oven, with a telescopic vent system.
An electrician did all the wiring, and added ground fault interruptor outlets, and new switches. He tested each circuit for correct draw.
When ever they run the microwave for more than a few minutes, it trips the circuit breaker. It is not on the same circuit as the range cooker, fridge, or dishwasher.
I'm thinking maybe it's the microwave and told them maybe they should call for warranty service and have it checked.

Availability in the US?i

The problem U suspect in the US is the wattage, 1500 watts is high for typical appliance outlets only this appliance could be used in a circuit. It there were another appliance in the circuit, too, the circuit breaker would be tripped. That is same reason GE did not sell many 110 volt Advantium Ovens they were rated 1500 watts as well and could not be used with other appliance in the circuit.

I love these appliances

I personally love these machines because when you have little time cook for you and you can do other things, but you have a little 'follow .. the food is tastier than conventional cooking but does everything by itself, and it does not dirty the kitchen it the hob.
For those wishing to approach the kind usually cooking machine without spending too much I recommend a SOUP MAKER costs about 60/70 € the uses are limited but I always many joys. Of this product in and put everything he thinks. Kitchenaid I tried it and it is much better than other similar machines. I opened a YouTube channel that also speaks of this, as I update daily with new videos and recipes, I do it out of passion only .. if you like to subscribe
