Since I asked Jason about his Pyrex collection in the blender thread I figured I'd start a thread exclusively for it.

So everyone feel free to share your collections.

Pictured below is my Corning blue cornflower pieces.
Not shown are a few more pie plates that are in use, a tea pot, a 9 cup stovetop percolator, and a 9 cup Electromatic percolator

you've got a great collection. Say in pic #1, inside the roasting pan, you've got two oblong pans. What size are they? Love the crock pot too.

I have as many Corning Cornflower pieces as you do, but not as many of the really interesting ones. That big open roaster is to die for! And is that the TWO-quart saucemaker I spy? Jealous much!

I have eight places of Corelle Snowflake Blue, and am working on serving pieces in the pattern. If anyone sees any of the big serving bowls or the platter, please let me know!

I also have some Pyrex, but mainly Pyrex Compatibles that match the Snowflake Blue Corelle, like the butter dish, etc. I do have some Pyrex Cinderella covered casseroles in the 3/4 quart size - one Pink Gooseberry, two Early American and one promotional pattern.

If anyone doesn't know what Snowflake Blue looks like, here's a pic:

Sorry I didn't mention that, but when I see the Big Kahuna roaster and a two-quart saucemaker, I kind of lose control, LOL! I have the platter, but not its insert.

Both of those first two are dream pieces for me. Both are, of course, expensive, unless you have a damn lucky day at the thrifts.
 
Here's my collection.  I don't have shots of the Corelle just yet, but I think this is all of the Pyrex.  I have a few favorites out of these.  I love the promo Delphite blue casserole.  I also love the turquoise covered bowl.  I lucked out recently and was able to find a replacement lid for it, as the original shattered a couple of years ago.  I also really love the Spring Blossom stuff.

"Roasting Pan"

The "roasting pan" is, if I'm not mistaken, the Broil 'n Serve platter, which was an interesting, if flawed, concept. The idea was to have a platter on which you could first broil meat, and then take it directly to the table.

While Pyroceram makes a very nice meat platter, trying to use the same platter for the broiling was problematic: Broiling creates spatters, meaning that the platter was covered in spatter when brought to the table. Not chic at all.

But the Broil 'n Serve does excel as a meat platter when meats are cooked using another pan, and then kept warm on it.

I have been looking for a set of cinderella mixing bowls for a while. Specifically, I'd like to find the blue amish pattern. I have seen bits & pieces of bowels, but, not exactly whole sets, or, anything matching. I'd just really like that blue amish pattern, I think it's just beautiful.

Lately here, it seems I've been finding a TON of actual Corningware Lids, without the actual corningware to go with it. I just don't get it.

I *also* like to pick up, borosilicate made Pyrex Casserole pans. The newer ones are made from a cheaper glass called soda lime, and are more likely to shatter, or explode in everyday use. The older ones, are simply made better, and are meant to last.

I'll have to post pictures of my corningware collection. :)
 
Well... Until I can take the time to set everything out..

I guess this will just have to do :)

Keep in mind, this is a photo from last year, and I've picked up a servile more pieces here & there. Also, I didn't have a really nice camera at the time, so I apologize for the blurriness. 

 

I really do like corningware personally, although, I sadly have a hard time finding it locally, in thrift stores.

I think these collections of Corning and Pyrex are really great. You don't need dozens of pieces to be a "collector" and it appears adding new items doesn't necessarily cost you an arm and a leg. They look impressive massed together.

Other than a piece of Pyrex here and there, my "collection" consists of 2 Corning items that cost me $12 for both. I like pansies (not being called one of course.)
