Automatic Washer - The world's coolest Washing Machines, Dryers and Dishwashers

Help Support :

Tupperware measuring cups came in sets of all one color.  My Mom has the two-tiered Kromex tidbit server.  It was a wedding shower gift in 1967.  I have a mint West Bend Penguin hot/cold server with the brown Bakelite handles that I found at an estate sale many years ago.  It has some of the original literature inside it yet.

Tupperware measuring cups

The measuring cups came right from my mom's kitchen, and she would have bought them new...or maybe got them as her hostess gift? She also used to have the measuring spoons, and I think her set may have been multicolored as well. I think she might still use those, or at least the ones that are left. Those wonderful burnt-orange canisters were hers, and I think she used them until she decided to splurge on a set of Pfaltzgraff that match her dishes. The little Sheers bowls I picked up at a tag sale when we lived in Kentucky.

The cutting boards

I should probably mention the two cutting boards... The one in good shape was left in the house when we moved in and looks like they knew it was for decoration. The other one came from my mother-in-law. God only knows how much lead paint she fed my husband growing up!

Brian,

Thanks for sharing your pics, nice variety of Corning you have.
And I love the Tupperware, one of my favorite household items.
I have the orange canisters as well as some brown ones, most of them Ive had to replace the seals with clear ones. I have those measuring cups as well as spoons in yellow.

Oh did I mention I probably own more a Tupperware than Aunt Barbara.

Tanks Sam!

I would love to have more Tupperware. A vintage set of jello molds would be particularly awesome. (Despite never having used the new set I *had* to buy a few years ago.) Sounds like you have quite the collection! :)

I've been meaning to post this for a while

But I finally got around to doing so. This is a very partial collection of mine, but it's mostly all my favorite pieces :-)

I love love love the Blue Cornflower

Wheaton Ware

My latest addition: Wheaton Ware accessories like my mom had when I was a kid! I love the plastic caps for the salt and pepper shakers, and the plastic sealer-liner for the sugar bowl lid.
