Hello guys,
i am italian and american washing machines are incredibly rare here, i would like to get even a modern agitator washer but that's almost impossible to get one here.

On ebay i've found a Maytag J2L here for 200 € (231 $)
Is that too much?

Thank you

Those are great machines. My first washing machine was a used Maytag J2LP (with a pump). I paid $35.00 in 1972. That one in the photo appears to have been properly taken care of for it’s age. I think $231.00 isn’t unreasonable. If the agitator works and so does the wringer you’re good to go. It’s a gravity drain machine so you can attach a long hose to the drain hose to drain it outside if you have a yard. Otherwise in a bathtub, floor drain or in a bucket. Not much to go wrong.

my main problem is that is ver very very far away from me and the seller is not keen on ship that.
I am not that could even be possible to ship a washing machine.
do you have an idea of its weight?

I personally wouldn’t buy it without seeing it in person first to verify that it works and everything is there, like the agitator for one thing. As far as the weight I’d guess around 175-200 libs.

If you go to the very top right of Ebay, there should be in a very tiny font the word "Advanced" that is a link there. Left click on that and the next page you type in what you are searching for, and down lower check mark the "Completed Auctions" box. Suggest you try "Maytag Wringer Washer" among others for the search. Then left click on the "Search" button. That will show you all the sold and unsold auctions of the item you entered, with that info be able to sort out a general price of anything on Ebay in your part of the world.
