Washed a near-capacity load of highly stained kitchen and personal whites last night with Persil 2-in-1, using the standard/medium load dosage (line '2' in the cap). No liquid chlorine bleach or other additives were used. Cycle: Sanitize; Heavy Soil setting. Water: Very soft.
The wash tumble for aforementioned cycle is 70 minutes in length, with water gradually heated to around 150 degrees. No sign of oversudsing 30 minutes into the cycle. Checked in again about 60 minutes into the tumble and half the tub was filled with suds! The excess suds protocol was not triggered, as tumbling during the drain/balancing seemed to take care of most of it. The 2nd (final) rinse had enough suds in it that I added an extra rinse. The 3rd rinse had only trace amounts of suds, so my hat's off to Persil's abilities in that department.
As with Tide pods and liquid Tide Ultra Stain Release, the only stains Persil didn't vanquish were of the "orange grease" variety---specifically, from a can of Hormel's Chili With No Beans. Coffee, tea, chocolate, ketchup, mustard, Worcestershire sauce, grass, ground-in dirt and other stains were completely removed.
If you don't mind the lingering, assertive scent, Persil 2-in-1 is definitely a strong performer.
