Automatic Washer - The world's coolest Washing Machines, Dryers and Dishwashers

Help Support :

It's "appearance" "resembles" a Hobart unit, but it's far form being a Hobart product. Probably a KDI22, a KDI21 at the oldest.

Looks like a Hobart KDI-21

It is difficult to see in the picture, but it looks like this machine has the water heat indicator on the right side which was on the original 21 series and then dropped once the sale was made to Whirlpool and Hobart stopped making them.
Also the control panel design looks just like my Mother-in law's machine with the black on brushed chrome where the cycle selection graphic is.

number of problems that Hobart should have fixed

Hello John, I was wondering if you could elaborate on some of these problems. I have always been a big fan of WP built dishwashers. Also if you could explain the difference on the new machines. On the newest WP DW's I see they have a wash arm on wash arm design, and a removable filter. ( I myself do not mind manual clean filters, and on washers it is definitely what I prefer. But customers just don't get the same joy lol and often neglect cleaning them, so I consider it a bad design.)
