Saw this 1955 Crosley range and thought it was too fun to pass up - so it came home with me.

As little as I need another range, I would have snapped this up! I can't wait to hear how it performs. Those elements, 7 heat selections, 10 oven rack positions. And instant kitchen bling, look at that chrome billboard of a panel!

The cooktop looks like it will be easy to clean. When your simmering pasta sauce on a back burner splatters (mine always does), there is that big white space behind each burner. One quick wipe should do it.

Here's an old newspaper ad I came across for this model stove...I'm especially looking forwad to using the "huge holiday oven."

I wonder if it is too late to take advantage of the Edison Range Modernization Program? I'll have to put in a call into Detroit Edison and ask about it.

Googling Cass City Gas,, seems they're still in business with a storefront. You should pop in some day and see if they have any original manuals filed away in the back. (stranger things have happened) LOL
