In the August issue of CR-they have a short about two GE FL washers-as not recommended-their complaint is the washers dirty clothes.CR mentions the items get trapped in or near the door seal and get abraded during the spin cycle-the washers involved were the GE WCVH6600H(WW),and WBVH5100H(WW)Any Applianceville folks own or used these machines and had that problem?Or is it CR's ineptness?

I know friends who have one of these machines and have been having trouble with one of these and the matching dryer. The washer makes some kind of odd noise, and now this. The dryer burned a hole in their new comforter. Brand new machines!

Yee! the dealer is taking them back. I hope they buy a damned Whirly top loader already. I had tried to steer them away from GE...
