Automatic Washer - The world's coolest Washing Machines, Dryers and Dishwashers

Help Support :

My credit union stinks. They wouldn't give me the mortgage I wanted, which I found elsewhere; their car loan rate was higher than what I found elsewhere, even though I have excellent credit. It takes more than a week to clear a check deposited via ATM, and not a personal check. Plus, they want to charge you to pay bills online. What's the point? They offer nothing.

Thanks.

The credit union i used to deal with screwed me with something hard and sand papery. I had most everything there and when i hit really hard times when my health started declining they refused to work with me at all to get anything caught up. Refused.. They said i wasn't sick and that i was just a lazy young kid... I flew off my handle, threw the keys to my first Ranger at them and told them where to go.. I walked up the street and filed chapter 7 bankruptcy that afternoon. 2 months later a judge ruled that i was not liable for anything and wrote every bit of the $145,000 i owed them off, and told me i could keep my house and i did not have to pay any bit of it back as I was disabled and not liable for a dime of it. They also got into trouble with some bored of directors and had to refund all of my checking account and saving account back to me,as i had disablity insurance and they never allowed me the option of using it.
I am of the opinion that banks are not in it for the consumer, just for themselves. Every bank i have delt with has been a big pain in my arse.
I currently use Fort Sill Nat'l Bank. They seem to cater to the secondary checking market and military personell. I have had no issues yet and have a no fees account with them. But only time will tell how long thi will last.

sorry Shane should of read this shame list first, i was just bragging on direct tv in hall of fame thread. Myself and my family have only had very good service from Direct TV. Like they say,You get one chance to make a first impression.

Ez-pass.

This is our automated (electronic) toll-taking system for roads in the northeast.

Since I love on islands, I need to pay for the use of a bridge or a tunnel every time I go to the mainland. Without this system it takes a very long amount of time to get out of here by car.

The employees of Ez-pass remind me of the New York State Department of Motor Vehicles of yesteryear. Female convicts with an attitude. These employees even make the ones in customer service who don't have command of the English language and who don't speak clear and concise English seem like a pleasure in comparison.

Since I love on islands

Um, Toggles........

LoL :-)

I forgot one.. Who here hates Best Buy??? They have the worst possible return policys on the friggin planet. If its broke, you got 14 days to return it packaged like you bought it in the orginal box with out and damage to said box. Also you must have you're reciept and you must be willing to put up with some dum bass young person who is knowledgeable about nothing....Also try going in the computer department to with out having the help ask you 200 times if you need help, but theres never help in any other department... OY@

LOL I asked a few youngin's in various stores for a dolly- a wheeled stand on which to move objects. (Yes for washing machines.)

I was directed to hand-trucks every time but one. This was after I escribed the darned thing repeatedly.

What issues have people had with Macy's? I've had no bad experiences with them. I haven't with Verizon, Comcast, Time Warner either.

I like shopping at Best Buy better since it went non-commission, it was a nightmare before that, but I've never had to return anything. I'll buy stuff at Sears but my understanding is you don't want to use their services like kitchen remodeling and stuff like that, and their salespeople are absolute vultures. I'm not fond of being on the buying end of most commission sales. Most of their appliance repair people are not too bright from what I recall in dealings.

The guy who gave me an idea of what they charge to resurface the kitchen cabniets was very nice and not a vulcher at all.. They just wanted too much.. But they did replace all the windows for a decent price and did an excellent job and actually cleaned up after themselves...

I've never tried to use their in home services, but I remember when I was in Arizona at Thanksgiving we went to Sears and Terry and Roger were going to look at the vacuums. I waited for them in the main aisle after a few minutes because I just couldn't stand it.

Hmmmmm...My List:

Chrysler Corp. My Dodge truck had a defective, threadbare spot in the fabric on the passenger seat. I didn't see it because I bought the car at night. I brought it in the very next day, and was told that they would have to consult the Regional Rep....but the time it got to him, he refused to fix it. I had to have it replaced at my own expense.

Qwest DSL cust service. I sat on hold for over 4 hours, then they treated me like an idiot, for someone who signed an order off but didn't work it.

I have to agree that I have never been treated as badly by anyone as I have by Chase. I had been a good-paying credit card customer for over 7 years and they just decided all at once to double my interest rate. When I asked for help, I got the snottiest bitch I've ever talked to. Then, when I paid it off, I was sent to their save person, who was nice at first, but when I complained (very professionally) about the way Chase had treated me, she launched into a tirade and attacked me and said it had to have been my fault. I later found out that when you request they not contact you about their special offers or account protecttors, you go right into the 29% s**t list.

And don't even get me started on HP. I don't even think their customer service call center is on this planet.

LOL!!!

I agree with Toggle on EZ-Pass. Yeesh!

I love on the mainland...heh =)

vulcher! LOLOLOL!!!

Hugs, D

Thank you Jon

I agree with you and thank you for not making my fingers type the name of that dispicable entity that sells Craftsman.

most australian banks

I would lke to add most Australian banks to the list particularly the 4 main banks, Commonwealth, Westpac,National Australia and ANZ,although I must admit that ANZ have picked up their act in recent times opening more branches and employing more staff instead of just more and more atm's.
I have my primary savings account with ANZ as they are the best of a bad bunch, however five months ago I discovered a bank based in Western Australia(which is over the other side of the country from where I live) called Bankwest and they are very very good infact they offer the cheapest interest rate Mastercard(only 9.5%) compared with the 15%or so that most othere financial institutions offer the highest interest rate on an online savings account currently 6.8% on every dollar invested unlike the Commonwealth Bank where you have to have a balance of $5000.00 to get just 6%.
Also Bankwest approved my recent personal loan with no hassles and also do not charge monthly fees on the loan account which is unheard of here really.
When i take my vacation over to W.A. in June I might visit a branch vto find out about an everyday account to see what they offer and if it is any good, then it is bye bye to ANZ.
Cheers folks.

I know it won't make that much of a difference, but try this on for size. Try banking with a locally owned bank or credit union. I realize that many of you like the idea of having a branch wherever you may be when traveling etc. In my area we still have quite a no. of locally owned/operated financial institutions. I'm a stockholder in one of the largest local banks here and they pay a fairly decent quarterly dividend, and they host an annual family-style banquet/annual meeting as a thank you also. The most recent banquet was April 17th with over 1200 in attendance.

DirecTv SUCKS!

We have DirecTv because of the large number of high def channels they offer (DH cares about this, not me). They have been nothing but a pain in the A$$ the past few months as we have been trying to get a credit on our account for a receiver that we did not order/receive. It's been a nightmare. When we move, we will not be hooking back up with them......I don't care what DH says about all the HD channels!

Well, I have to say

I have been with Bank of America for 15 years, and well, there are alot of words that I could use to decribe them, I would say thatf irst of that B of A is pretty self explanitory, please fill in the blank.I was in the process of opening a new acount at a local Community Bank here in Portalnd, when I came up on check systems. That would be pretty hard for that to happen, since I still have a large majority of my money there. I called them while sitting in the lobby at my new bank, and this is the responce I was given, oops, sorry, my bad!!It was like they were not going to let me break up with them!! For heaven sakes!!! They are in Seattle, I opened my accont there, and frankly, I was pretty calm for what they did. I did get them to fax me a letter clearing up their oversite within two hours.Oopps just does not cut it. That is very embarassing to have when my time is important to me.This is not the first little thing that they have done, I do not feel that it is worth dignifying it with a banter of going on and on about it. I opened an account with Zions Bank when I was first in School in Utah 10 years ago, and have never had a problem with them, as well as Unitus Credit union.I guess that there are some organizations that just do not get it. I wish they could get a clue.

I've rarely had customer service trouble, with any company. Dunno why. Maybe because I'm careful in my dealings with them and rarely do returns? Having been on both sides of the CS scenario, customer attitude has a large bearing on how things go. Many times at the ISP customers called with a problem, with an accusatory attitude and complete unwillingness to cooperate with diagnostic efforts. Same for billing issues. If a check is sent but gets lost in the Post Orifice, how is that *my* fault?

One of the last calls I took before the office was shut down, about three weeks after the last day dial-up service was available, the customer complained he hadn't been able to connect for several weeks, what's the problem? I explained the business has been shut down, you didn't get the postal letter and e-mails we sent? He doesn't use the e-mail service (go figure). I confirmed his postal address, which had changed due 911 re-addressing (apparently we didn't get a bounce on this one, as the *few* bounces that did come in were handled separately). I gently pointed out that he hadn't advised us of the change, he got belligerent, said it's not HIS responsibility to do that. Uhhhh, OK, then who exactly is responsible?

I can say Hewlett-Packard is problematical, at least in regards to scanners. I tried for several months to get an RMA for repairing my scanner (not under warranty so I knew there'd be a charge involved). The reps kept directing me to go through diagnostic routines, which I kept telling them I had already done, tried both the USB and SCSI interfaces, etc. I gave up. Anybody want a nice scanner with document feeder?
