Hey all I just picked up this Kds 18-c from marketplace last night . It’s in great shape ( minus the lower rack ) but I do have a few questions

1. Is the motor one that is rebuild able ( ball bearings )

2. Where could I find an exploded view of the pump insides … I feel like I’m missing a piece because watching the clear tube that runs up the side of the machine while it’s running and there seems to be a lot of bubbles in it like it’s sucking air

3 what’s the water level supposed to be at ? When I ran it yesterday when I got home, the water level was just above the sump … if I’m correct the entire square part is supposed to have an inch of water correct ?

4 the machine came with no upper kickplate/ door panel Seller let me look through the entire garage and we could not find it .Would anyone happen to have one?

Not sure but I think it does. Are they sounding noisy?

On the "Normal/Sani" cycle, the first 2 fills are 2 gallons. The Pre Wash, Main Wash, First Rinse, and Second Rinse are all 3 gallon fills. The Final Rinse/Sani (if selected) is 2 gallons.

Another thing to check is the upper constant rinse at the ceiling. Most of the original ones are broken now but there are replacement designs still on Ebay.

The machine looks great from the pictures. Too bad it didn't come with the lower panels but some will eventually show up.

The motor does sound a little noisy, and the machine all around has a tinny sound when it’s running I have already bought a new seal kit so I figure I might as well redo the motor bearings while I’m at it

As for the constant upper rents, the top center has a hole in it with nothing attached. I’m assuming that’s where this constant rinse arm belongs

Yes, it is in great shape and I’m really hoping that I can find a kick plate for it soon enough I want to swap out my 22 series superba
that’s in my kitchen currently and see how well this one cleans

I was able to get the pump pulled out today and the sump does not even have a speck of rust inside … so looks like it’s getting a rebuild for sure . Ordered parts now we wait …. I still have to source a lower door panel
