Darlene Conley of The Bold and the Beautiful dies..

Sad news just came through on the AP..Darlene Conley, who starred on The Bold and the Beautiful has died of Cancer.
For us soap fans, this is a huge loss. Sally Spectra was a unique and special character =(

Shane, had she still been working on the show relatively recently? I know she was still on there within the last 5 years. I was surprised to read of her passing.

she was diagnosed in November of '06 with stomach cancer. It was during a routine exam. She has been on the show since 1988 and yes, she was appearing regularly up until her diagnosis. For those of you not familiar with her character, she was truly larger than life. I will miss watching her so much!

Watch The Bold and the Beautiful on this day. the show will be paying tribute to actress Darlene Conley and addressing her death.
It still is yet to be determined how they will address the fate of her character, Sally Spectra.
The Bold and the Beautiful aires weekdays on CBS. In most markets its on at 1:30pm.
