O.K. everyone!!! I am so exicited to be here! You guys are so great--REALLY!!!! Fall/winter is coming and only have a few weeks left so I'd thought I'd share my line with you of Whitest Whites recipe!!! In my BOSCH Premium washer my formula for whites and the cycle---- One cold pre-wash with liquid Wisk (i heard liquid lifts certain stains first), Main wash is Cotton/Reg. at 150 degrees high water with a Persil and Arm-n-Hammer Super Washing Soda, 1st Rinse add a 1/2 cup Chlorox Ultimate Care followed by 2 more rinses with extra high water (which i have to add..a negative with the new fronts), Last Rinse with Downey/Frebreeze and blueing..what do you think,,Take Care and Happy Washing..Darren K>

They do look extremely white - no doubt the sun is helping you too.

When my whites need renewing I wash them in Persil too. Occasionally I will use Tide Free and Clorox LCB but not all that often.

Welcome Darren! If I've learned anything from my pets it's that Metro is really the one in charge and you're the assistant. But it's nice to pretend otherwise, isn't it? :)

Hi Darren and welcome, when I first saw the title I thought, oh here we go, another You Tube from yet another Bewitched episode LOL
Metro looks like he might be ready to take out somebodies ankle.
Pete

I would love to have a clothesline, but john isn't into the idea of line drying (he'd rather drench everything in bleach, lol). Since he does the laundry, he calls the shots.

but still, I'd love to be able to put our spread and quilt out on the line for air, even in the winter.

oops....

What I meant to say was "he'd rather drench everything in bleach, and then leave it in the dryer on high for three hours" The whites come out WHITE, but also two sizes too small, and paper-thin - and you can smell the clorox.

When I really want to drive him nuts, I buy a bottle of blueing, and leave it out on top of the washer. Blueing freaks him out ;-)

Well of course they're gonna look the bluest for one day after months of gray drizzle.
Now I can hum that tune but I can't for the life of me remember the name of that old tv show about pioneer Seattle

Here Come the Brides

Well, Pete, this singer isn't any Perry Como, but at least it will refresh your memory!

Hey Darren, workplace torture is bad enough without the two things you mentioned. That's just a double whammy nobody needs. You have my sympathy.

Race and Sexual Orientation are not even factors . . .

. . . And those towels are like a Get Out of Jail Free card here at AW.org!
